Colour of the year

Why Greenery was Pantone’s colour of 2017

I swore I wasn’t going to do this but here I am doing the cliche thing. Pantone has concluded that the colour for 2017 is GREEN *2017 is the year to make moneeeeeyyy*.

I am actually in love with green interiors. There’s so much you can do, from the ‘earthy’ to the typical Victorian look. I have come up with some green inspired photomontages, which can be seen at the end of this post but for now, here are some interiors I stumbled upon online.

I would advise that you should go green (dark), if you have a good amount of natural light getting in the room, otherwise you can try lighter shades of green. You can also lighten the room by using light coloured ceiling and floor finishes, mirrors and reflective materials.

As seen above, you can use different shades of green for your walls and ceilings, I just have a preference for ‘money green’.

No matter your style, theres so much you do with green. It’s all about experimenting.

If you choose to go green, please share your pictures with us!
